Voluntary positions for Complementary (touch) Therapists

University College London Hospitals (UCLH)are always looking for a wide range of Complementary touch Therapists in one of their many services they run for both patients and staff.

At the moment they are especially looking for therapists who can offer reflexology or other gentle treatments) to the patients in their beds and non-couch-based short treatments (15-30 minutes) that can be offered to the clinical staff on the wards (e.g .reflexology, massage (including Indian head massage or Shiatsu). This staff service has proven to be very popular as it takes the therapy to the busy staff where they work.

These roles offer a unique opportunity to therapists to gain experience in a number of different settings. We are looking for both experienced as well as newly qualified therapists.

If you would like to know more about what’s on offer and what we require, please email Amanda Tata, Volunteer Services Staff Wellbeing Coordinator, for more information at amanda.tata@nhs.net
