Senior Practitioner Membership
If you are a teacher or have higher levels of qualification and specialisation and are advancing your practice in some way, for example, you are an author of published research or a writer; you may apply to join as a BRCP Senior Practitioner.
"At a time when people often have quite a high level of anxiety due to feeling unwell, they want to feel reassured that when they have taken the often difficult step to try a new approach to resolving those health issues, they are being treated by a competent and fully trained person. Membership of the BRCP provides that reassurance."
All current BRCP Practitioners have the opportunity to upgrade to Senior Practitioner. If you are not yet a member of the BRCP, you can join as a Senior Practitioner if you fulfil the following criteria:
- You have been practising to the standard of a BRCP-registered practitioner
- Can provide evidence of five years of continued good practice (normally it’s enough to provide copies of five years’ insurance cover)
- Can show examples of good Continuing Professional and Personal Development.
Additional benefits...
Senior Practitioners may be invited by the BRCP to become Advisors or Moderators for their discipline; offer and/or provide CPD modules through the BRCP; or become a spokesperson for their discipline.
