The type of e-cigarette that you should never use

An article published by “What Doctors Don’t Tell You” on 30 October at:https://www.wddty.com/news/2020/10/the-type-of-e-cigarette-you-should-never-use.htmlstates as follows:

E-cigarettes with nickel-chromium alloy heating elements are far more dangerous than the type that uses stainless steel.

The damage the nickel-chromium e-cigarettes caused is so severe and sudden that researchers decided to release their findings early to warn of their dangers.

After just an hour’s use, smokers started to suffer severe respiratory distress, including laboured breathing, wheezing and panting, said researchers from the University of California at Irvine. Their lungs showed lesions, red blood cell congestion, and early signs of pneumonia.

They had used stainless-steel e-cigarettes for a year without suffering from breathing problems, and only one of the participants had slight inflammation in the lungs.

The damage seems to be done by the heating element as similar reactions were seen in everyone using the cigarettes, whether or not they smoked them with nicotine, vitamin E or THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which had all been suspected of causing respiratory problems.

Vaping has already been found to raise blood pressure and increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
